Our visitors from Atlanta

My brother Jimmy and his family came in town to visit us in August. We also flew our Grandmother in to be with 6 of her 8 Great Grandkids. It was fun to have everyone here together.

Jack's 1st Haircut

I am so behind on updating our blog! These were taken back in July when we took Jack for his 1st haircut. He was starting to look like a little girl with all his hair so we decided it was time.

The finished product! I miss his curls but I have to say he looks pretty cute.

Jack turns one!

I love this picture! We were opening gifts with Jack and all of a sudden we noticed Sam was being a little too quiet. We found him back at the table eating Kate's left over ice cream with the hands. Classic Sam!

Sam turns 2!!!

We had a small family get together to celebrate Sam's 2nd Birthday. It's hard to believe that he is two already and getting more and more fun by the day.

Sam finally has some real "boy" toys in the house. He loved all the cars, trains and especially his new tool set. He had such a good birthday.

Kate's Dance Recital

Kate had her second dance recital in May and her class danced to "The Yellow Rose of Texas." Her are a few pictures of her getting ready and at show time.


Her favorite part about the entire day was being able to wear all the makeup!!

Our Houston Trip

Our trip to Austin

Our first day of the season to swim and sadly Jack's first day ever. Kate took off like a little fish, Sam had absolutely no fear of the water and Jack just laughed the entire time. It was a fun afternoon.
